Digital, or direct to press printing, is best for short run print jobs. The state-of-the-art technology requires no plates or setup, making it quick and easy.
Offset printing is the most traditional form of printing and best for long run printing. This form of printing requires plates and additional setup, making it not well suited for quick jobs.
What is a “print ready” file?
Commercial printing is best done with high resolution PDF files, but there’s more to it. To ensure the file is ready to print in high resolution with our expert services, you’ll need to confirm the document’s size, set colors to CMYK, include bleeds, etc. Our team will work with you to spot check your art before production to make sure your print comes out perfectly.
What is “bleed” and what is the recommended amount for print jobs?
“Bleed” is print industry terminology for when the print area goes past the final trim line of the page and “bleeds” off the edge of the page. When including bleed, it is recommended to add 1/8 inch to all sides of the page.
What finishing and coating options are available?
